Docssier keeps almost nothing in your browser, and nothing at all for advertising. This page lists what it does keep, and why.

Staying signed in
When you sign in to the Docssier app, the authentication service keeps a session in your browser so you are not asked to sign in again on every page. It is cleared when you sign out.
Reading a help center
A reader is given a random token, kept in their own browser. It is not an identity: it says nothing about who they are, it is not shared between hubs, and clearing site data starts them over. Opening a doc records which doc, which hub, and when, against that token — never an IP address, a browser, or the page they came from.
Referral links
Following a referral link leaves a code in the browser for 90 days, so that if you sign up it can be credited to whoever sent you. It records the path visited and the host of the referring site — the host only, never the full address.
What Docssier does not do
Docssier adds no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers to the app, the marketing site, or the help centers it publishes. There is no ad network, no data broker, and no cross-site profile.
Managing it
