Doc AI answers your readers. Your assistant works for you.
Both use AI, and both work from your docs. They sit on opposite sides of the help center.
Doc AI
The chat on your hub. It answers your readers from that hub's published docs only, cites the guide and step each answer came from, and opens a ticket when the docs do not cover it. It comes with the hub, with nothing to connect.
Your Assistant, Over MCP
Claude, or any assistant that speaks MCP, connected to your Docssier account. It works across your whole library the way you would, reading, drafting, and filing guides. It runs in your own Claude, not on your hub, so readers never see it.
Ask for it in plain words. It knows where it goes.
Your assistant sees the same library you see in Docssier: your help centers, how they are organized, and every guide in them.
Look It Up
Ask how a process works and your assistant reads the guide instead of guessing. It sees every help center and guide your account can see.
Draft and File
Ask for a new guide or a change to an old one. It writes the steps, files the guide on the help center you name, and leaves it as a draft for you to read.
Plan the Screenshots
Ask it to add screenshots to a guide. It plans the walkthrough, and Docssier Capture takes the pictures in your own browser once you press Run.
Organize a Help Center
Ask for a new area on one help center, with the groupings inside it, and file guides into it as you go.
It signs in as you, and stops where you would.
No Key to Manage
There is no API key to create or store. Your assistant signs in with your Docssier account, and signing it out ends the connection.
Your Account Only
It works inside the account you approved and cannot reach anyone else's.
Drafts Until You Publish
Anything new it writes stays a draft until a person publishes it, and its changes to a published guide wait as unpublished changes.
Screenshots Stay in Your Browser
When it plans screenshots, the pictures are taken in your browser and saved to Docssier. They never pass through the assistant.
Three steps, and no key.
- 1
Copy the server address
In Docssier, open Settings → Integrations and copy the address under Assistants (MCP).
- 2
Add it to Claude
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the address.
- 3
Sign in and approve
Sign in with your Docssier account and press Approve. Your assistant can start on your library right away.
Write the process down once. Teach both.
Every guide in your library is one your team, your clients' readers, and your assistant can all work from.
